Kia to expand capacity in India only after 2025

Kia India, the Indian subordinate of South Korea’s Kia Corp., known to be the most emerging sport utility vehicle (SUV) developer in India, will look out volume enlargement options only after 2025, in defiance of its provisions at Anantpur in Andhra Pradesh functioning at more than 100% volume, a senior company executive mentioned to the press.

Kia’s Andhra unit, which was recently initiated with a volume of 300,000 units backing up a $2 billion extraction by the belonging, extended its yearly volume to 350,000 units the previous year. Hyundai, too, initiating with a volume size of production more of 600,000 units at the Pune factory and enlargement volume to 900,000 units. The firm could grand up manufacturing at this provision by another 200,000 units.

Therefore, Kia India is aren’t ensured to utilise that volume, mentioned by Brar. “We begin with our manufacturing capacity of 300,000 units, and later on year, we did 336800 units measures.
